We have an excellent opportunity for a Temporary Administrative Associate in Chicago .

Responsibilities

This position is a temporary role lasting approximately from December 2019 to March 2020 . The Administrative Associate will work approximately 20 hours per week .

The Administrative Associate will provide support to staff who oversee K-12 school fundraisers.

  • Print, copy, and send materials to schools and volunteers. May include bulk mailings.

  • Develop, input, and maintain information in appropriate computer software programs.

  • Support staff in handling customer relationship management with schools and volunteers.

  • Develop, oversee and/or assist in the development of brochures, flyers, newsletters and other materials.

  • Develop and maintains sufficient inventory of department materials for school events.

  • Assist with coordination of event logistics as appropriate.

  • Assist with general office management day to day tasks.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of related experience.

  • Must have earned a high school diploma or GED.

  • Must have at least basic knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office 2010 or higher used for word processing, email, presentations, and spreadsheets. Advanced knowledge and skill with these programs is preferred. These skills are subject to testing.

  • Experience and skill in using a database management system preferred.

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
